About

Our Story

Welcome to Danville Chocolates, the specialty chocolate shop forthe downtown area. Open seven days a week, we work continuously tocreate our products, while constantly adding new ideas, ingredients, and combinations of flavors. We enjoy working with our customers to create something special for a wide range of parties and events. Stop by the shop to sample our newest creations, take in the aroma of chocolate and fresh caramel cooking, and be inspired by the ever-changing decor that matches the current season.Owner and Operator, Terri VollmerTerri opened Danville Chocolates after 25 years in the confectionary industry. She has a passion for chocolate, customer service, and a talent for designing and decorating storefronts. She opened her first store in San Francisco in the 1980’s, and managed the business for many years. Terri sold the store in 2006 and settled into retirement. In the fall of 2009, she was inspired to return to work and created the image for a chocolate shop just down the street from where she has lived for many years.Manager, Brianna MooreBrianna was born and raised in Danville, CA. She has enjoyed baking and creating treats for her family, friends and neighbors since a very young age. It wasn’t until after graduating college that she decided to put her love of both cooking and creating gifts into a career. She went on to graduate from the Culinary Institute of America in Saint Helena, CA. Brianna loves working in the community, and seeing customers come back time and time again.

Our fresh fruit is hand dipped in chocolate daily. We make saying “"Happy Birthday"” or asking a special someone to Homecoming, easy. Simply call ahead to place an order. We also recommend our fresh White Chocolate and Raspberry Bark, and our Chocolate Dipped Apricots, Cherries, and Orange Peel!
